Let’s take a moment and to do an inventory of what we have to appreciate. Pay attention to the moment. Search and notice what there is to appreciate. No matter what the circumstances, if we pay close attention we will find something to be grateful for, to appreciate.
Take action by actually appreciating. We can journal about our appreciations or share our appreciations verbally with another (or our self). Or we might create something visual to reflect those moments and experiences of appreciation.
Our skill as someone who can appreciate, and be grateful, will grow with practice. What difference will being a skilled appreciator make? A growing foundation of appreciation and gratitude will provide the strength and resources to move our life forward along the path of progress.
