Work Together

Current Clients | Chuck Craytor, LPC
People come to psychotherapy for many reasons. Sometimes life has become difficult or uncertain. Sometimes relationships are strained, anxiety has become overwhelming, or old experiences continue to shape the present. At other times, we may feel that something in our lives is asking for attention.
Psychotherapy is a place to slow down and become more present to our experience. Rather than beginning with the question, What is wrong with me?, we can begin by becoming curious about what is here.
From that place, new possibilities can emerge.

Psychotherapy

My approach is grounded in existential-humanistic and phenomenological psychotherapy. At its heart is a respect for the whole person and for the complexity of being human.

Our work begins with your experience—not with a theory about who you should become. Together, we pay attention to what is happening in your life, your relationships, and within the therapeutic relationship itself.

The aim is not simply to reduce symptoms, although that can certainly be important. It is also to deepen your capacity to be present, to listen to yourself, to recognize what matters, and to live with greater authenticity and choice.
